The Beach on a Rainy Day.....

Hi everyone,

I love the Instagram look but unfortunately don't own an i-phone!

So imagine how excited I was when we loaded the latest Picassa version and under the "More fun and useful image processing" tab is the "cross process" button. The end result is very similar to Instagram.

We went to the beach a couple of days ago - in the rain! Well it was drizzling on and off - better than the torrential downpour that we have been experiencing A LOT lately.
So we decided that we had to get out and we drove (with a lot of "Are we there yets" from the back seat) to a gorgeous beach on Whangaparoa Peninsula. And decided to walk and get some air.

The sky was dark and moody and there were a few brave souls in the water but for the most part the beach was deserted.

We got caught up in a few showers but it was so good to get out the house that we didn't mind and I managed to take a few gorgeous photos that look fab, fab, fab converted to "cross process"

Footprints in the sand.....

Look at the sky...... just beautiful.....

Love this picture of Payton in cross process.....

Posing with the giant frame- doing the tourist thing....

I still like the original pictures but for some reason the cross process really works with the setting of these photo's. Will definitely be framing that one of Payton....

Take care

Thanks again for your helpful posts - I do have to let you know that it took me forever to do my signature... I made so many mistakes and had to keep going back to the beginning. But so much fun xx Nat

    1. Aw thanks Mary.... Im so excited your getting Picassa - Picassa 3 has the latest programmes. I also like the 1960's look - I think I'm going to do another beach post soon as Iv converted a few pics of the kids to the 1960's view and they look really good. Also I have one of my son running and when I add focal zoom to it - he looks like he is running faster - so super cool xx Nat
