Stamped Pendant and Button Bracelet

Hi Everyone,

I have been doing a bit of stamping again.

Payton needed a girly gift for a birthday party that she went to today so we decided to make the little friend a pendant with her name on it.

Off to the hardware store last weekend to grab washers and I got the wrong ones! They were too thick and really hard to stamp.

I even got Sean to try and he wasn't able to get it right either, but he did give me an idea - I needed to really hit that stamp to get any indent. So with 3 washers left I finally got the name stamped on...

 I also painted a smaller washer with nail polish as I was going to layer the necklace, but I didn't use it after all. And yes the little birthday girl is called June.... such a sweetie.

 

 Payton chose the charms and pink colour cord. I think we were a great team collaborating on this little project.....

Then for a bit of fun we also made a little bracelet.

This was the first bracelet I've made using a button clasp

 

  Super cute right?

And this is what I picked up late this afternoon.......

An over excited little Miss who could not settle down - she had a great time at the party

Cute Modge Pendants

 Hi Everyone,

Remember this painted bracelet that I made not too long ago?

Well, I had so many requests for more like it, that I recently got to work and made a few pendants. 

Again I used the wooden pendants and scrapbook paper.

 The paper I chose had these awesome easily cut out spiral shapes

Glue onto the pendant and when dry cut the centre out with a craft knife. Then a few layers of modge and a final brush of varnish you have a cute pendant...

I had to make Payton  a pink one - to be fair she has been nagging sweetly asking for one for ages

Valentine's Decor.....

Its nearly Valentine's Day .... 

We don't really celebrate in too much style - I usually cook a yummy dinner and Sean always gets me something small. 

This is the first year I've even decorated, a little, in honour of the day.

I shopped my home and put a few pieces together and I quite like how it turned out...

Oh Elmo!!!

It was a gorgeous afternoon.......

Elmo asked to go to the beach again...... 

Maclayne does NOT like the water but decided that she loves him enough to go, as long as they just walk on the sand this time....

Whoa... This is as far as we go !!!!!!  Lets just have a little walk... That way....

 Nooooo.... Elmo what are you doing?

What???? Nooooooo.....

That was naughty Elmo...

  Okay.... maybe we should talk....

Oh Elmo your my best friend in the whole wide world....

Mum - Elmo says it will be okay and I should sit here a while

Oooh Im not so sure........ Wait... that was kinda fun!!!!!

 Right... waves... .BRING IT ON.....

 Aaarrgghhh .... I think I need some help... Mummy!!!!!
