I love the use of keys in jewelry.
And I'm busy working on a few pieces to create a line. Hopefully coming out shortly.

I'm loving this piece at the moment...

What do you all think?

I'll be listing this one in my Etsy shop soon.

Take care

My Baby Turned 6!

My  Payton turned 6 today! Seriously, when did we get to 6 years old?
To me... she is still my little baby...

She had a wonderful day...

Got exactly what she asked for and wanted, like this limited edition Monster High Doll - Catty Noir.
(Payton is a huge Monster High fan! Huge!!!)

Had the best fun at Rainbow's End

And got her lolly cake!
I tried to pretty it up but she was happy just to smoosh the M&M's onto the cake.

Happy Birthday my sweet 6 year old!

I'm so glad you had "The Best Birthday Ever"!!!

Summer Garden - A Statement Necklace

Hey Everyone,

This was my post at Inspiration Cafe for the Bloomin Marvelous series.

So I'm going to be sharing an easy Statement Necklace tutorial based on a strip of ceramic flower shaped beads that just reminded me of a Summer garden.

What you need for a necklace:

1 headpin, jump rings, chain, a clasp, beads and a focal bead.
Pliers (not pictured)
What to do:

1. Thread focal bead and other beads onto the headpin
2.  bend the headpin at a 90 degree angle.
3.  Using round nosed jewelry pliers, bend the headpin back around to form a half loop.
4. Measure the middle of your length of chain and hook the headpin through a link in the chain
5. Twist the wire of the headpin around the loop.

6. Keep twisting around the loop, pulling the wire neatly in a circle. tuck and tighten the end.
7. Thread seed beads on to jump rings.
8. Work your way along the chain, on either side of the focal, adding the seed beads.
9. Complete the necklace by adding the clasp.

Easy right? So easy!

It turned out much better than I pictured! Don't you think?

Because I was loving the colour combination so much I whipped up a simple bracelet to match.

I just loved this challenge! I had so much fun making these items.

And they just shout Summer Garden.

I hope you were inspired today and I hope you all enjoyed my tutorial.

Take care everyone

Breakfast Muffins

Hey Everyone,

This was my post for the Inspiration Cafe - It's A Steal Series.

My mission was to knock off a post (any post) from Sweet Little Blue Bird, which is Mary's blog. Hmm... so many yummy dishes, how was I supposed to choose? It wasn't easy!!!

Finally it was getting darker and the family were getting snappy with hunger and so I quickly decided to make them breakfast for dinner! Good thinking right? Who could go wrong with eggs?
They are awesome!!!

Click here for the recipe on Mary's blog.

Mary was able to cook a whole egg in the middle of her muffins, but as I only have a standard sized muffin tin, I mixed my eggs as if to scramble them and poured equal amounts into my bread cups.
I didn't have bacon so I added ham slices to the top.

They really are THAT good!!!
Sean has decided I need to make these every weekend! Which is perfectly fine by me - tasty, nutritious and easy!
YUM!

I was left with quite a bit of bread - with missing centres, so as an experiment I dropped a slice of the bread (lightly buttered on both sides) into the fry pan, cracked an egg into the center and while it was cooking, I added a good sprinkle of cheese on the top with ham pieces.
I was really excited that it did NOT make a huge mess!

Sean was even more excited to get to eat my experiment! His verdict? Really good!!!
He said it was like french toast with cheese and bacon...Umm..Yummy!

Take care and have a great week
