Hey Everyone,
Today I want to share a really quick little project with you.
I know there are heaps of great painted tins in blogworld at the moment and I loved this one from Fox Hollow Cottage.
My tutorial is in pictures as I think its a pretty simple project, basically - paint your clean dried tins and give them a little sanding down so some tin shows through. Then the best part is embellishing them.
I wrapped twine around the tin and secured with a knot as I had run out of glue for my glue gun - I know right? Who does that.....?
My lovely friend Leah (hi girlfriend) gave me these cute beachy charms that I threaded onto clear nylon thread and wound over the twine.
And.....Voila - how cute are they?
I have them on my windowsill at the moment but will need to move them I think, as they will be ruined by the sun and by us using the stove right near them.
So pretty with a few flowers, brightening up a dull Winters day
I love the colours of these petals, they complement the blue so nicely....
Take care
xxx
