New Gallery Wall...

Hi Everyone,

My Gallery Wall is DONE...... Well so far, until I change something.....

I will definitely add to it as Maclayne gets older and wont want to pull the frames down, so for now its a little higher on the wall than I wanted, but overall I'm extremely happy.....

This is how it looked before.....

I decided I would keep my colours the same as the gallery wall in the corridor

Remember this wall here ...

(Gallery in corridor)

Initially when I laid out my frames I realised I had too much white and turquoise. I remembered how well grey worked on my other wall so I decided to incorporate it again....

I experimented a little and liked the look on the right....

I spent a few hours moving the frames around on the floor all the while yelling at the kids not to step on them (fun all round I would say....)

When I was happy with the layout - I used my trusty little level and 3M Command Medium Strips to hang the pictures...

So? What do you think?

And of course we had to have an impromptu photo shoot

Yes... that is my dear child STANDING on the couch.... sigh!!!!

I hope you like my wall and are inspired to create something today.....

Thanks for stopping by,
don't forget to leave me some comment love :-)

  2. I love the gallery wall. I used those Command strips on my photo wall and the frames have started falling off of the wall. Bummer.

    1. Oh no that shouldnt happen. I have frames that have been up for the last 5 years with those strips - altho I do add like 3 to each frame. However they take the paint off my walls - but with us renting we aren't allowed to put nails in. Glad you like my wall tho xx Nat
